Teaching Children: Where Do I Start?

Tell the Story!

This website is based on story.  Although it is a collection of over 170 Bible Stories it is actually only one story, the Story of God as Revealed by Him in His Word.

The purpose of Mission Bible Class is to help you share God’s Word with children of all ages.  Use and adapt these free resources to teach any age group in all kinds of teaching situations.

A well-told Bible story is the most natural and inter-generational method of sharing the Word of God.  God bless you as you tell the story!

Additional Free Teaching Materials

Finding My Feet: Most of the teaching material on this website relates to children aged three and older but infants and toddlers aged 0-2 years have specific learning needs.  Click here for free curriculum for infants and toddlers.

https://missionbibleclass.org/family-bible-time/about-family-bible-time/Family Bible Time: The Bible is for all ages!  Adults and children can interact together in these “Family Bible Time” lessons.  Many of us desire a more natural family setting for Bible study from time to time at home or in small groups but know that a meaningful gathering can be challenging.  These lessons are not all about adults OR all about children.  They are about generations spending time in God’s Word together. 1. I just would like to give my thanks and appreciation to the administrators of this website. Your resources helped me a lot in preparing my own Kid’s Bible Class in our little community in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. I am now about to start our first session. May God bless you more and more with His blessings from above. I pray that this site and ministry of yours continue to grow. May you continue to give these online resources for FREE. You don’t know how big your ministry could impact to the whole world. Blessings to you, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ! Thanks a lot! 🙂

  2. Hi Mary thanks for doing this ministry, it is awesome. Sometimes it is very hard to find free material, I have forgotten about this ministry, but I will be teaching a lesson on Philip and the Ethiopian and I found the visual I got some time ago. I want to know if it is ok to use that material for a video we are doing for the children ministry of our local church in Santiago Panamá, Central América since we can not meet, we are doing lesson via videos.
Waiting for your response. May the Lord continue using the site for his glory.

    1. Hello,
If you are referring to the slideshow then yes, you are very welcome to use it. I make a permissions statement on the last slide about it being Creative Commons. You can use any of the slideshows like this.
May God bless your work in Panama especially during these difficult times.

    2. Hi Lissy. My name is Cynthia. I have written 50 lessons in Spanish for the ministry work I do with children in Mexico. The lessons are sequential (following Ethnos 360, formerly New Tribes, methodology) and my ministry is to give them away for free. Mary has graciously forwarded me your email so I can offer this to you. Would you be interested in me sending them to you?

  3. Hi! I’d like to know where I could find samples of Sunday school songs. I found the Sea of Galilee song on YouTube but I wonder if there’s more.
